What we use and why
- Newsletter & United Frequencies
- Your e-mail address, to send you news. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to talent@lbl22.com. Kept until you unsubscribe.
- Booking requests, demos & e-mails
- The details you send us, to answer you, arrange a booking or listen to your demo. Basis: steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying. Kept up to two years after our last contact, or longer where the law requires us to keep contracts and invoices.
- Game leaderboard
- The nickname you choose when you post a score at lbl22.com/play, with your score, accuracy, grade and the date. It is stored in our leaderboard (a Google Sheet) and shown publicly on the leaderboard. Basis: your consent by posting it; once you have posted, your later runs are posted under the same nickname until you press “Stop” on the results screen. Kept until you ask us to remove it.
- Website visits
- Your IP address and technical browser data, to deliver this website, keep it secure and count visits anonymously. Basis: our legitimate interest in a working website. Not stored by us.
- Release links
- When you open a release link (lbl22.com/go/…) or tap one of its music-service buttons, we record anonymously which link it was, whether it was a page view or which service you tapped, your country, the type of device (for example iPhone), the website you came from and any campaign tags in the link. No cookie, no IP address and nothing that identifies you. Basis: our legitimate interest in knowing where our listeners come from. After you tap a button you continue to that music service, under its own privacy policy.
- Music players
- Pages with a Spotify, SoundCloud or Bandcamp player load it from that service, which receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. Basis: our legitimate interest in letting you listen to our music.
Giving us your data is not required; without an e-mail address we simply cannot reply or send you news.
RaveSave waitlist
RaveSave (lbl22.com/ravesave) is a concept by LBL22. LBL22 is the controller of the data you give there. This is what happens with it.
- What we collect
- Your e-mail address, and proof of what you agreed to: the time, the version of the consent text, that you ticked "I'm 18 or older" (we do not ask for your date of birth) and which link or campaign brought you to the page. If you fill in the optional step, also your city or region, genres, the clubs and festivals you type in, how often you go out and your age range.
- Why, and on what basis
- To tell you about RaveSave, to see where the demand is, and to see which clubs and festivals fit together, using your answers: that includes matching clubs and festivals by genre, which is a form of profiling. Basis: your consent (the unticked box), confirmed by a link we e-mail you (double opt-in). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any e-mail or by writing to talent@lbl22.com, and you can object to the matching by the same route.
- Who sees it
- Our e-mail service Brevo (brevo.com, a company in the EU) sends the e-mails and stores the list for us under a processing agreement. Clubs and festivals only ever see totals, such as how many people in a city want RaveSave, never your e-mail address or your individual answers. We do not sell your data. To block bots the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which then receives technical browser data such as your IP address.
- How long
- Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. E-mail addresses that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Without a confirmed e-mail address we cannot add you to the list.
- Age
- RaveSave is for people aged 18 and over. If you are younger, please do not sign up.
- Clubs, festivals & other organisers
- If you use the contact form at lbl22.com/ravesave/promoters: your name, organisation, role, e-mail address and message, to reply to you and talk about RaveSave. Basis: steps at your request before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. It is kept on a separate contact list at Brevo and is not used for a newsletter. Kept up to two years after our last contact. The calculator at lbl22.com/ravesave/calculator stores nothing: your slider choices stay in your browser.
Your rights and how to complain are described under "Your rights" below.
Recipients
Our hosting provider, our e-mail provider, Brevo (brevo.com), the e-mail service of the RaveSave waitlist, Web3Forms (web3forms.com), the form service that passes what you submit in our newsletter, United Frequencies and booking forms on to our inbox, Google (Google Sheets), where we keep the game leaderboard and the anonymous visit statistics, and the music services above. Some are located outside the European Economic Area (such as the United States); those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data.
Cookies
We set no cookies. The white-rabbit trail keeps a list of the pages you visited, and whether you finished it, in your browser's session storage; it never leaves your device and is erased when you close the tab. The game at lbl22.com/play keeps your best scores, nickname, auto-post and sync settings in your browser's local storage. Your nickname and score only leave your device when you post a score to the leaderboard (see "Game leaderboard" above). Embedded music players may set their own cookies (see above).

The music, artwork, photos, texts, animations, code and the rhythm game at lbl22.com/play (including its tiles, levels and beat maps) are our own work, unless stated otherwise. Embedded players (Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube), fonts and open-source software remain the property of their owners.

Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to talent@lbl22.com; we reply within one month.
